Windows 8

Hello,

Just wandered if anyone had tried windows 8 on their machines.

I just recieved my Vortex II yesterday and thinkin of upgrading it to the Windows 8 preview either as a partition or as an upgrade.

Anyone had any problems or positive experiences?

I have been running the consumer version an my enigma 3 for a while now with no issues.

Well, no issues that arnt part and parcel of pre-rtm software.

Did you install it as an upgrade or as a speperste partition. I should perhaps just enjoy the laptop with windows 7 before I dive into a now OS or just take the leap.

I've been playing around with Win8 too, no issues as Gorman said. I installed it as a standalone on a laptop as I wouldnt want to use a pre-release OS on my main machine
The only thing missing is a touch panel

I just replaced 7 and use it as the main OS, after all, it is pretty much 7 with a few extras and different ways of working that are a bit fruity at the moment.
