Hi all, I bought my pc a while back from pc Specilist and it has windows 10 pro on it. I have managed to get by but it is really getting frustrating.. I am missing calculator app and also a windows image viewer, things only open in photoshop.

how do I get these on my pc as I am struggling with a google search

I remember hearing about this problem a while back, I think there was a problem with the images being used for the installs for a bit (cant remember the timeframe though).

I believe a Windows clean install fixes it - though obviously this would mean you'd have to save anything important, because it involves wiping the OS drive.
These are two useful links I have for clean installing:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

Probably worth waiting for others to reply first though as they may know of some easier/simpler solutions, or they may just say that I'm barking up the wrong tree entirely :)

Edit: this is the thread I was thinking about: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/microsoft-store-is-missing.82604/page-3, looks like the person who was having issues was missing the calculator near the end of the thread - and ended up doing a clean install - may be worth checking through that thread anyway to see if anything else in there sheds any light on the issue

Yeah this very much looks like the problem that was in the thread I linked where in the end a full clean reinstall was needed (just as Spydertracks said above)
