Wireless Card Switched Off On Start-Up

Hi there

I recently purchased an 15.6" Optimus II and absolutely loving it!

Mine's fitted with an Intel Ultimate-N 6300 on Windows 7 64-bit and annoyingly, whenever I boot and load into Windows, my 6300 is turned off by default (i.e. I'd troubleshoot my connection to turn it on).

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have already installed the first of the downloads from this site and also all of the drivers provided by PCS's CD.

I also currently have UMA mode on, yet have specifically selected the wireless adapter to run on maximum performance.

I am also plugged into the mains.

Argh!

While I was installing the CD drivers, I was playing around with the wireless button as the only option it displayed was 'off' (pre-WLAN-drivers), so I must have left it in an off state.

So glad it has been resolved though.
Would have been an utter nightmare switching the damn thing on every time I boot.

My laptop came the same - bluetooth and wifi were deactivated and had to switch them on via a key combo.
