Wireless card turned off?

I've set up my pc, everything is good so far..except the internet. During the first boot when "test windows" was active, the wireless card was on and connecting to the internet. However once I installed windows 7 over the test windows, and installed all drivers etc, the light next to the wireless dongle is off and I can't connect to anything. I've tried accessing BIOS to no avail...f2, del, insert and the usual keys don't do anything. I go straight to desktop regardless. Confused, help would be much appreciated.

Ps, my wireless card: WIRELESS 802.11N 150Mbps PCI-E CARD

Where from? I don't have any disc apart from the ASUS motherboard and ZOTAC gfx card disc. Otherwise, there's nothing. It cant find any drivers. I can't connect to home network or anything.

Also the problem seems to be that my pc is telling me the adapter is not connected. No idea why.

If you don't have drivers installed then it isn't setup, so it wont work at all. You need to login to your pcs account and download the wireless drivers from there.
