wont turn on

Got my new build(i7-5820K, asus X99-S, geforce gtx 760) and a little disappointed because system doesn't turn on(it doesn't post). Motherboard gets the power because power/reset leds are on but nothing happens when I press power either on motherboard or chassis. No fans turn on or any sign of life. All power cables seem to be connected and I don't see any obvious reason what might be wrong.

Is it normal that the bios flashback led at the back blinks all the time? I thought it'd blink when you try to flash bios from usb drive.

Any ideas I could do/check before pcspecialist support gets back to me? It sucks if this new PC was fried already when it arrived.

Double check the psu cables are all inserted properly and the memory is seated ok. Sometimes components can come loose in transit. Also there should be a power button on the mobo itself, try powering on with that.

Cables look ok, I even checked the pins. Power button on mobo was a first thing I tried. I did re-insert memory, though not even memok button do anything(I guess system needs to be powered on).

I'm not a gamer so would not even look to overclock, but it looks like people have managed to fry mobo/cpu with this combination. They've left with same situation, leds on with power/reset but system doesn't post.
