Worth replacing wireless card

Hi all

BT have just upgraded my router to the Homehub 5 that offers 802.11ac. I currently have the DUAL-BAND WIRELESS 802.11N 450Mbps PCI-E CARD.

Could anyone who has made the move up give me their thoughts on whether the upgrade was worth it in terms of actual speed rather than hypothetical.

Do you actually use your homehub for shunting files around your network, if so then you may see some improvement, but only if all your devices are capable of the faster speeds.

if its just for internet you wont see any benefit at all.
