Adding an SSD in future

If i got a a WD CB HDD now, and bought an SSD in the future would I be able to re-install the OS on the SSD without reformatting my HDD? (thats a lot of abbreviations lol)

you should be able to. but is the ssd going to be used as the main boot? if it is you will have to adjust some of its settings.

Yeah i know how to set it as the bootdrive and all that; so after I re-install windows will the old windows files still be on the HDD? or will it automatically delete the old OS?
