X99 Liquid Series Build

Hey guys, I'd really appreciate feedback/thoughts/tips/advice on a build that I'm looking to get soon:

Case: Corsair obsidian series 750D
Spec: Liquid series high kit
GPU cooling: EK nickel for one GPU
CPU: Overclocked Intel six-core i7-6800k
Motherboard: ASUS Rog Strix X99
RAM: 32gb Kingston HyperX Savage DDR4 3000MHz (4x8gb)
GPU: 8gb EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 SC Gaming
SSD: 2x 480gb Kingston HyperX Savage
SSD: 1x 128gb Samsung SM951 M.2
PSU: Corsair 650w RMx series Modular 80 plus, gold

Also planning to hook this up to an Acer Predator X34A G-Sync monitor

So yeah, let me know if I'm doing anything dumb, and what you'd change and why - I'd really appreciate it!

If you could let us know your budget and what you'll be using the machine for, then I'm sure some forum users can give some directed opinions and advice :)

Budget is around the £2,750 mark, could be persuaded up to 3k.

I'm buying this to go with the aforementioned monitor, so I can run demanding games at high res, high fps. I'm also using memory-heavy music software programs and samples, so that's particularly important. I need something cold, fast and heavy-duty.

Thanks!

If £3K is your max budget then with the same spec I'd look at getting a GTX 1080 instead. 1080 is around 24% faster than the 1070 and it performs better at higher resolutions which would be perfect for your monitor of choice.

I done a quick spec and currently your spec with a 1080 comes in at around the £2950 mark.
