Xmas Delivery Dates

Ordered on the 15th nov not getting any updates of my build que seems like they have forgetten about me :-(, 20working days and still in pre production.
I would contact them and ask what's happening with your order. Mine has been in production for 6 days and has jumped to the building stage. It might be possible that they are out of stock on the item you've configured the pc with.

Everything's in stock I've just messaged them they have had to disable the email updates about predicted build date I don't know if that's just for me or everyone, I've been told my pc will go into build tuesday/Wednesday next week but I'm not to confident of that having the missed many 4deadlines already, I might just cancel my order altogether and buy else where feel like I've been treated poorly having read others are jumping the que ahead of me.

Are you basing that from the system configurator? Because that may not give an accurate reflection as regards your build, it’s more appropriate for the ordering process rather than an order that’s already been submitted.

I’d just pick up the phone and give them a call, you’ll get an answer much more quickly.

Also, see this recent post from a member of staff for more information:

You wont get a custom build anywhere else any quicker as everyone is in the same predicament due to global shortages of parts, no one jumps queues as builds are done based on part availability and ORIGINAL ORDER DATE, so lets say Joe Bloggs ordered a system with a 3070Ti in it several days before you ordered your system with a 3060Ti in it, and then for whatever reason he'll have a 3060 Ti instead, he'll get his system before you get yours, as he ordered it before you ordered yours

I belive my issue is tied up with EU orders prioritised over UK orders as Agent Cooper linked too above and explains quite well why my order has been delayed.

As you have already been told your best bet is to actually call PCS and have a conversation with them. There will be a valid reason for why they haven't got to your order yet, they wont just be mugging you off for a laugh.

Also assuming you ordered by the 4th PCS have until the 25th to deliver to you so they have plenty of time.

Heya @PauAnd , if it’s any help I’ll fill you in on how my order’s been getting on over the past little while, I ordered on the 22nd of Nov. and it’s now on its way (slowly but surely hopefully :3) to Ireland.

I messaged the lads on the chat to see how things were looking on Monday, and they also said that it was looking like my build would begin next week. However, the very next day the PC went through building and testing, and was then dispatched the next morning (Wednesday this week), so I was very pleasantly surprised to say the least.

I don’t know if it’s any comfort to you, but it could be possible that once they get through the EU orders (which doesn’t seem too long a wait from that post in the other thread) that they could get through the build and dispatch of your order surprisingly quickly, and at least then if yours is a UK order it should hopefully be delivered a bit more quickly without the customs delays etc. that I have (and FedEx 😭). So maybe it’s worth hanging on a bit longer, really hope it gets to you soon (y)

Not yet sent but I'm told its going today or tomorrow.

Eircode was not an issue in the end.
Unsurprisingly it was not sent today, I'm told it will be Monday but at this stage I'll believe it when I see it.

This has proven to be not the case and orders are being processed based on order date (as long as all parts are available)... I will say, and this isn't a moan, when I called up last week to ask for a predicted build date I was told that by looking at the current queue that my build date was predicted for the 20th of December, which led to me starting this thread as I ordered well before the "latest order date for Xmas delivery" - I ordered on the 26th November. I had no out of stock items and actually opted for the 3060 over the 3060ti so as to ensure I would not hit any snags with regards to stock levels. Then someone on the forum stated they ordered on the same day as me and was already in build/testing - so as you can imagine this got my back up slightly, coupled with the "EU orders take priority" quote I saw a few times, however, since then all these comments have turned out to be nonsense. Since Friday my system has moved from Pre-production, to build, to test and now sits in "awaiting dispatch" looking like it may go out tomorrow. So they are working flat out to build and dispatch all orders made before the Xmas cut-off date, which I believe was the 4th Dec?

So, it looks like I am safely going to get my new system by Xmas, hell I could even have it in my hands by Wednesday of this week.

PCS have confirmed they're prioritising European orders at the moment to fulfil those ordered in time to get them delivered before xmas.

It doesn't change UK orders that were ordered before the 4th, they will still be delivered before Xmas, but they'll get the European ones shipped first as obviously it's a lot longer shipping period.
