Your order automatic emails appear to come from an invalid hostname.

I just placed an order and was getting a little worried that I hadn't received anything to confirm so I just looked back through my maillogs figuring I mis-spelled my email address or something but discovered several emails had been sent, but had been rejected since the sending email server domain was invalid

Apr 1 09:18:13 cerberus postfix/smtpd[6372]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[94.236.107.204]: 450 4.1.8 <[email protected]>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found; from=<[email protected]> to=<REDACTED> proto=ESMTP helo=<411583-web1.pcspecialist.co.uk>

In the day and age of copious spam its fairly standard and definitely considered best practice to setup an email server do these kinds of checks before accepting emails, the use of an invalid host means that any correctly setup email server wont accept any emails. I do know that from dealing with your helpful enquiries email address and the forum generated emails both do use valid hostnames it only seems to be the automated ordering system that doesnt.

On a personal note I now also dont know have any details, including the password to be able to login to your site, I printed out the order ref number but thats all I have, if I email the order ref to your enquiries email address will they be able to sort it out for me?

edit: okay whitelisting your server on mine and hitting the forgotten password link has got me into my account, but I do recommend you change your server settings unless you want dropped mails!

Thanks for informing us of this error Finn - we've recently moved over to a new server so we'll look into this right away and get it fixed. :)
