Hi,

I just got my laptop back from PC Specialist repair, however - can't log into W11 account now.

Its says: "Your PIN is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on this device. Click to set up your PIN again."

When clicking "Setup my PIN" notting happen. What should I do to fix it?

Yes, but have lots of important things on this laptop I cannot lose. Does a new clean install will affect it? Is ther other way?

I called the local computer service, they said it's best to reinstall the system. I said I have important data, they said they could open the laptop, take out the hard drive and copy it somehow. I'm just thinking, since the laptop is under warranty by someone other than PC Specialist, won't opening the laptop break the terms of the warranty. I am waiting for a response from PC Specialist, maybe another option would be to send them back to the site? Its been there for over a month, so I am desperately looking for another option than sending back the laptop again, especially since the courier with insurance £80.

It seems its popular issue on W11, many advises says to run regedit, do some changes in register and it will works. However, waiting for PC Specialist for their sugestion, as jus get the laptop sraight from them 2 hours ago.

Be aware, using a 3rd party repair service will bid your warranty
