Hm, it looks like for some reason your Windows 'System Reserved' partition (100MB - Windows 7/350MB - Windows 8 partition) has been assigned the letter K, thus being mounted for access into your Windows environment.
The System Reserved partition is a partition (virtually sectioned part) of your hard drive that is used by Windows 7 Ultimate, Business and Enterprise along with various if not possibly all Windows 8 versions. It is apparently used primarily for BitLocker as well as Windows Recovery Environment and Windows boot files, therefore you should not be directly using this partition unless you have a versions of windows which does not use it.
To remove the driver letter and therefore direct access to it via Windows Explorer, you should do the following:
Go to
1. Start and type in the search box "computer management" (without the apostrophes) then press enter
2. In the Computer Management tool click 'Disk Management' in the left hand side menu which is located under 'Storage'.
3. Right click on the 'System Reserved' partition box (100MB) and select 'Change Drive Letters and Paths...'
4. Click remove
5 Click OK
This partition will then have it's drive letter removed and will be dismounted from use so your Auto Play doesn't think it's an external drive.
Any more help just ask
That's what I suspected, disabling or uninstalling should fix the issue, failing that try a system restore if one is available,to before the update.Funny u should say that i updataed my tomtom home this is when it started do i simply remove tomtom home?
Fingers crossed, but I'm pretty sure that's what caused the issue.great well i soon see iv just removed it so not happend as of yet
