You'd have to ask PCS, it could be one of many configurations.im thinking about buying a laptop but wanted to know the tgp of the 3060 gpu's in watts
I could be wrong but I am pretty sure I read something about this from someone on the forum yesterday who contacted PCS about it and they said they didn't know until the chassis' arrived. As I said, I could be wrong though
The whole point is each SI uses their own card, so it’s different between all SI.Checking the (ionico 17) 3070 Tongfang chassis GM7MG7P on noteb.com (whoever they are?) Suggests 115w...
They only have the 15" in 3080 flavour... again 115w.
Fingers crossed 115w from PCS.

My point is, we don't know which chassis models that PCS are going to be stocking, they haven't stated as yet.In all honesty I don't think it's exactly correct, Spyder.
This is not a Clevo with MXM modules (like the one of mine which broke on december..). This is Tongfang where the GPU is soldered on the motherboard. And the last 2 digits of the model number explain which type of GPU is soldered:
GM7MG7P -> 7P = RTX3070 with Max-P
As this chassis is recorded by the noteb website to have 1560 Mhz max boost, it means it's specc'ed as like as all the others Tongfang chassis with RTX3070. Follow pic taken from a review of another RTX 3070 with same boost clock (laptop w/ slightly different model number, as it is for Zen3, hence the PCIe x8 only lanes). RTX 3070 capable of 1560 Mhz delivers max 125W + 15W DB2.0:

There should not be possible to have another wattage with that same Model number GM7MG7P. That's my guess, at the least.
I hope I am correct as I am awaiting that precise model here and will soon-ish know the truth.tually changes name (last 2 digit) to represent which GPU is soldered
Yes. Nursemorph kindly ran the quotes for me with the following chassis data from PCS:As far as I remember in one of the latest configuration thread someone posted yesterday or the day before about the Ionico the PCS configuration specified this particular Model number among the rows: GM7MG7P so that's reassuring PCS are using THAT chassis with 125W+ RTX 3070.
Weirdly enough in my configuration preorder the chassis is just named after "Ionico 17", without an actual Tongfang model number like the above, but I made it trhu the pcspecialist.it, so that might be a lack of this info in the configurator for italian, or PCS added this additioanl info later along the road (I preordered mine the 27th).
I definitely think they're gonna ship the GM7MG7P to anyone buying the Ionico 17 with RTX 3070 (me included, do hope, lol).
Don't know much about the RTX 3060 but I've seen GM7MG0P could be the chassis for that config (don't know the GPU rated for that).
Max-P in 2020 meant the maximum performance. Newer RTX 30 cards have lost this connotation but many vendors (including PCS for their Clevo) uses Max-P and Max-Q to show if their lineup of RTX is on the higher end of the NVIDIA range wattage or the lower.
Those Tongangs are at the higher, but still their Power Limit can be lowered at will with their newest Control Center.
No laptop with RTX3070 can go higher than 125W + 15 Dynamic boost 2.0 unless exceeding NVIDIA spec with unofficial overclocking.
Yep, it was me, and i asked about the Elimina 15" modelI could be wrong but I am pretty sure I read something about this from someone on the forum yesterday who contacted PCS about it and they said they didn't know until the chassis' arrived. As I said, I could be wrong though
