Seems that the best air-cooler option on PCS is the hyper 212... which should cover my use case, with a little headroom for overclocking.

OK - so the overwhelming feedback is that AMD is the way to go!! Could someone help me to tweak the spec CPU/MB wise? FYI on-board wifi is only a nice to have - it seemed to be the same price either way for the ASUS one. My goal here is that the spec should do well for 5+ years, fingers crossed!

Though I should add that my current system is 8+ years old, and is well overdue a reinstall of windows. So either way I am expecting a massive bump in performance!
