    PCSPECIALIST, PCSPECIALIST my dvd drive is not showing in my computer or in device manager?

    the little green light works and it open and shuts,also you hear it spin but nothing happens.ive tried all the microsoft fixit solutions and also disconnected it and tried other cables.ive done the regedit where you delete the upper and lower values although i only had uppers which i think means...

    ive got a ukash virus and all the solutions i see say press f8 and then choose safe mode.when i do this though im taken to a different pc specialist page which is a bit daunting!!!

    it showed up on my order but cant see it now.says you get one when you buy an nvidia gts450 or better?.is it in a pack in your welcome pack box or hidden away in a folder on your harddrive or do you have to download it?.ive tried google but cant find any info?:rockon:
