Hi everyone. I've been using my Ionico for the last couple of years, and I'm thinking of treating myself to a new SSD. I currently have an Intel 670p in one slot and an WD Sn850 in the other. That's right, one PCIe 3.0 and one PCIe 4.0 drive. So, I thought I'd better check what version of PCIe...

So, I finally got round to attempting this. Case-back removed, no problem, screws out of GPU and CPU heatsinks (3 each). However, the sink / fan assembly remained very firmly in place. Anyone an expert on CPU temps? Mine seem to have been rather high- CPU package temps up into the 60s in Office mode, and into the 70s at idle. Temperatures increase quickly under fairly light loads- even 10% or so CPU usage results in a lot of fan noise! I've had the laptop around a year, but I...

Interesting ideas. Particularly the bit about the drives- I hadn't realised that either of these models supported PCIe 4- is that hidden somewhere in the specs, or are we just meant to guess?! Any info on the chargers, btw? Many thanks again.
