Is my hard drive failing?

Alright people,

I think my hard drive is on it's way out what do you think.

I have a OCZ Vertex 120GB SSD and a 1TB caviar black,
The SSD is my os drive with most of my games on but now it's getting full I have started putting games on the caviar black.

I only started putting stuff on it about a week ago and today it started making a clicking noise, isn't that a sign that it's going to pack up?

It's not the fans, I have checked them and it can't be my SSD.
The noise is pretty loud as I can hear it over my coolit Eco and case fans which are running flat-out and my 5970 which is pretty loud.

Does anybody know of anyway to test the drive or if this is a confirmed problem with some caviar blacks.

Cheers for the help but it's all sorted now.
The disk-checker showed that the drive was fine so I unplugged it restarted and plugged it back in and it stopped doing the noise.
Strange I know, as I fail to see how that could work but it did.
Maybe it had a mini short or something but it works fine been testing it for a couple of days and no problems.
