That's what I was thinking.
But I was hoping for another solution as it would be a pain to do a clean install. But if it's gotta be done it's gotta be done. I'll wait to see any other replies, and call PCS on Monday as well maybe.
After repairing a bunch of times I managed to get onto Windows once, but after it seemed fine and I left it to do Steam updates and stuff it blue screened again and then can't get back in again.
The stop code I get is: PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA. What failed is: CorsairVBusDriver.sys.
After Googling the issue I found a post that says the easiest way to fix the CorsairVBusDriver.sys crash is to boot Windows 10 into the Recovery Environment and rename the driver. I have followed the...
It does have RTX on the Game Pass version, I've had RTX on and then switched to see the difference it's like night and day with the reflections. But I've tried it with DLSS and RTX off and the stuttering was still there.
You can't tranfer anything, it's just through the Game Pass for PC Beta app. You need to be signed into the app to even play the games. Well I can just uninstall this game, lots of other games I have for free on the Game Pass that I can play I guess. Then maybe if I wanna play it again sometime...
I have already said in this thread that I am getting a new monitor. Though I know it probably wont solve this issue. When I bought the monitor it was for my older PC. That had a GTX 980 and I wasn't really bothered about G-Sync I just wanted 1440p and it was on sale at the time, the monitor is...
The DLSS options in-game don't have resolutions. It's Performance, Balanced, and Quality. Yes I'm playing at 1440p. The stuttering issue I'm getting happens on all 3 of thoese settings though.
I got onto the game after doing a Windows update and uninstalling Bullguard, the stuttering issue still persists. I'm starting to think it's just the game doing it for my system as I've seen people saying it can be like that for some. I don't know.
Okay I will do a full update tomorrow.
I think you have misread what I have said about fps in this thread. Just so you know I'm not trying to run more than 75fps. I know my monitor is 75Hz and I'm trying to run at 75fps.
I will post here once I've updated and what not if the stuttering issue...
I do have an update for Windows right now, but that must have been in the last day or something since it was last checked yesterday with no updates. There is a Feature update thats optional should I update to that?
I'm running at 2560 x 1440p on all my games I never upscale, and I know 75 is...
Really? I assumed since Defender is free and you pay for Bullguard it's just better.
The monitor is this one: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GSFC4VS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sorry I edited my reply didn't see the new page. I have Bullguard but I've tried running the game without it and it didn't change anything. My Graphics drivers are up to date.
As far as that link goes it's saying I should be fine even at 4k with my 2080ti. The Adaptive shading settings are...
AV = Anti Virus? If so Bullguard. I've already tried running the game with it off and that did nothing.
But I installed from the Xbox Game Pass for PC on the Xbox Beta app.
I followed those steps and got it working, I had to reinstall Wolfenstein: Youngblood so I tried Assassins Creed: Origins as in that game I had VSync issues too. With VSync off it was over 100 fps at 1440p but so much stutter it made me feel ill, with some crazy screen tearing. I swtiched the...
I'm using an Acer Nitro. It does have FreeSync but is not G-Sync compatable. When I bought it I wasn't planning on buying a new computer at the time so I didn't really think ahead and get a slightly more expensive G-Sync monitor. Though after I buy a PS5 I'm going to be saving for one for sure.
Yeah I've not noticed any other games having this issue. Doom Eternal did even with VSync but after I turned it off then forced VSync on the NVIDIA Control Panel it fixed it. Doesn't work for this game.
I was playing at an odd resolution wich was causing it as far as I know. but I was messing with a few settings so could have been another. But I know now I'm running it maxed over 120fps. Just the stutter issue is annoying.
Yeah that's what I was saying in the post. I saw that too so I was confused as to why I can't even hit 75fps (my monitors refresh rate).
EDIT: So it turned out I am to blame for this issue. I have now fixed it.
Now I have a new issue, despite me running at a contant 75fps it's stuttering like...
