Thanks for your help, tried everything suggested and then phoned up pcspecialist, they were great but nothing worked so I got a replacement.

Yeah I’ve tried that too, I actually thought it was working fine after doing that but then I went to play Sims 4 and it cut to standby mode quicker.

So when I power on the computer it makes one short beep. Ok, I tried the other DP channel and the same thing happened.

I checked the input channel and its DP1 which matches what my cable is plugged in to, I’m trying to load the screen at the moment and I’m getting the same message and the monitor isn’t coming out of standby mode.

It has 2 DP ports and the same thing happens for both, sometimes right away or I will be playing a game and then that message comes up. So this is it plugged into the GPU.

Hi, I keep getting a message that says ‘no DP1 signal from this device’ and then it goes into standby mode, any suggestions for why it’s doing this? I just set up my new computer and monitor so I’m not sure if I’ve did something wrong. Help appreciated thanks!

I really appreciate all of your advice with this as I’m pretty clueless and was just going off of what my brother told me (to go for intel) and my own research. It’s given me some things to think about and change before ordering, thanks for the helpful information!

I have seen one that is 27in, 100hz refresh rate and 2560x1440 resolution but I'm still looking around. Thanks
