They are similar prices, although the octane 3 has an I5 and the Defiance has an I7, that said I believe the octane is running a desktop cpu which will have more raw grunt.
It also seems to be heavier and has worse battery life, but I'm guessing that doesn't really matter give the main reason...
Any idea when laptops will be available with the new Nvidia/ATI chips in.
I don't really want to buy one just this minute given that I suspect it will soon be possible to get 1060/1070/1080 based machines.
Also maybe AMD but it's a bit tricker with them as there's a load of 4xx series chips...
The admin might want to check their mailserver as apperently it's missing a PTR record in DNS (RDNS) or at least thatwas the reason my spam filter gave for throwing the forum activation email in it in the Quarantine.
Indeed a reverse lookup on the IP the email appears to have come from does...
