I don't mean to be greedy or anything, but there had been no issues with my comp but its going to be delivered on the 12th working day which is tomorrow, reckon I could get some free fitting or something? Just curious idm being it a day late with the excellent help and pc specialist provides.

What do you mean free fitting? I think PCS will say they are already offering the most competitive deals they can and wont be giving away anything else :)

It's very easy to set up yourself,if having any problems just post on the forums or give PCS a call.

as Vanthus has said, its very simple to set it up yourself. I would also say its advantageous too really. Means that you'll learn a wee bit while you are setting it up :D

As DPD will be delivering the package it won't actually be a PCS staff member turning up on your door with your computer who can just come in and help like if you were having a sky box fitted or something. Therefore it might be pretty late notice for them to assist. All I would say is it's all pretty self explainatory. Just unpack everything and read the welcome pack, make sure you've unscrewed the case (they should be thumb screws so no need for a screwdriver), remove the foam packaging from inside, admire your beast, close it back up, plug the power supply cord into the big power supply hole, plug your display cable into the relevant slot (PCS emailed me the day before my order came to make sure I plugged it into my graphics card and not my motherboard), and then turn it on :) make sure you've flicked the switch on next to the power supply cord on your computer! A lot of people seem to forget about it :)

Then it should just take you through Windows first time setup which is all pretty simple :)

Remember that it was a day longer than the estimated time, it wasn't actually late, the estimated lead time is not a guarantee, its just an estimate :)
The guaranteed time is 30 days I think

I completely missed that point of his post! I didn't realise he was asking for free fitting because it was a day late...

Yea like Rakk said, when you placed your order you agreed to the terms and conditions that it can take up to 30 days and that the estimated delivery times are purely estimates and shouldn't be used as solid fact. I was given a 9-11 day estimate and it came on the 12th and I was over the moon. You should count yourself lucky that it's coming that soon! There are a lot of people that have had to wait longer! Especially in the run up to Christmas.
