17.3 Defiance V-How to remove backing plate to access the RAM+SSD for upgrades?

Hey guys
I have just bought 17.3 Defiance V RTX (Model C)
But I can't seem to access the RAM+SSD bays to upgrade... I have unscrewed the back screws, the outer ridge of the laptop unclips but it seems that there is something in the central area keeping it from opening completely. I have popped off the keyboard and undid the ribbon cables to see if that is the issue, but I can't seem to figure it out and i dont want to break a new( and not cheap) laptop... I have bought a new SSD and RAM that I want to put into the machine
Any help would be appreciated

The most recent clevo chassis often don't have manuals online

Note the suggestion above to ask PCS for the manual - they don't bite 🙂
