Hi all.

I'm thinking about ordering a build from PCS with a 3090 too.

Reading on here, it sounds like I'd be waiting for around a month for the build to start. Am I right?

Who knows! It’s not just GPU’s running low. A lot more items are too... depending what cpu and power supply you choose too.

It's around 40 days at the moment depending on the parts you order.

Mine did too, 3090 and a 5950X. The only thing im worried about is my cpu cooler. The Corsair H115i RGB PLATINUM Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler I had chosen showed out of stuck at the time. (13/11).

The only think I’m not sure how it works is - does Pcspecialist assign parts for your build during pre-production then building time - they put it together. Or during build time - if a part is out of stock then your build is on hold? Anyone know?

They’re assigned at the beginning.

Now awaiting dispatch. I will send pics when it arrives and it’s all set up.
Please do! I am waiting for the strix model and am thinking about switching to the X-Brand queue. There are certain brands of 3090's that I'm keen to avoid however

EDIT: In another thread, I mentioned that I had a phone conversation with PCS on Tuesday where they said they were unsure of the next ASUS Strix deliveries but are expecting a delivery on Thursday of ZOTAC Trinity 3090's which apparently "can cover all outstanding 3090 orders". So let's see what happens!

Yes, I was originally on the strix 3080 but heard about the long wait from PCS so opted in for 3090. Didn’t go for the strix because of it being one manufacturer with high demands.
