hello, I have been looking and looking and then looked some more to get myself a decent PC and after looking at Imac's, mac minis and other computer building sites i think i have come up with the best bang for bucks pc however I still would like to see what you guys think of the specs and also if you see a better solution to my current config?

In terms of RAM would i benefit going to a 4 x 4GB kit?
Would I be better off going with a usb Wireless network adaptor?
I also didn't see an option for a CPU compound so i'm guessing it will be a standard CPU compound supplied?

If you can't connect to your router directly with an ethernet cable the wireless card would be a better choice than a USB adaptor, homeplugs could be an even better choice.
What are your intended uses on the computer?

unfortunately I won't be able to connect to a router directly. I haven't thought about homeplugs! thanks :)
This computer main use will be for music. might be a bit overkill i'm not sure but i would like something that last me a few years hence the reason i started to look into Apple computers ( i never managed to keep a windows computer for long and was advised to look into mac's) but i don't understand why they charge so much for well not a lot really.

You mean music production? are you planning to overclock your cpu? I would drop the GPU and use the integrated gpu, get a cheaper motherboard like the z87-A and at least silver warranty for £5.

My bad, yes i do mean music production and i have no intention on overclocking the cpu. I will take another look at the GPU,mother board and warrenty. thank's :)
Do you reckon i should drop the CPU to a i7-4770?

no overclocking for me. so drop the corsair h60 for the triple copper heatpipe CPU cooler.
Thanks Keynes that saves me about £200! :)

Would the power supply be enough for me to run a second HDD and update the GPU in the future or shoud i go with a bigger power supply?

Depends on the gpu you wish to add. For a 2nd hdd or other additions it will be fine.

If planning on upgrading the GPU in future I would go for the 650W RM PSU.

Sorry I should of included that in my question really!

For the hdd the one you got is fine. For the gpu it depends on the one you wish to select. Since I am assuming is not for gaming a low entry gpu should be fine for 450w but if you wish to do some gaming in the future you could go with something higher like 550w or more.

There is an AMP's issue with any of the higher end GPU's when you select anything below the 650W RM PSU,so I would go for that to be on the safe side.

I think I am going to go for something higher then just to be on the safe side.
Thank's to you both :)
