Thanks. Is there any difference between the i4670 and the i4670k? On paper they seem identical.

Also, any thoughts on the NZXT Phantom 410 as a case?

The "K" just means it's unlocked for overclocking.
The CM STORM TROOPER case is the one I'm thinking of getting with my new rig,it's a matter of preference really in that price bracket, how it looks and if it will fit of course.

Oh I see. Is there any advantage in having it unlocked if the PC will primarily be playing RPGs and RTS games? The former have become more graphically intensive over time but their requirements on the processor aren't taxing.

Also, with respect to memory, does faster memory deliver any advantages for gaming? I tend to have a browser open, usually playing videos, whilst gaming. My current PC an slow down considerably at times due to this.

No need to overclock for most games and for gaming you wouldn't get any noticeable difference between 1600mhz and higher.

Couple more questions on this build.

What's the difference between the GTX 780 and the 780 Ti?

Also, with the SSD, would 240gb be a reasonable size for it? From what I recall, SSDs are pretty easy to remove and upgrade later on.

Google benchmarks, around 18% better.

depends on what you are planning to store on it.

OS and some games. I currently have a 120 GB one and at a stretch it can store 2-3 games in addition to the OS, most go on the secondary hard drive. I am just wondering if they're going to drop much in price in the future. I see what you mean about the difference in performance for the Ti.
