in about 3 weeks time im buying a new upto date pc. At the moment i have a Asrok p43de intel core 2 quad q6600 2.40ghz 4gb ddr2 ram windows 7 pro and a XFX 5770. At the moment my Overclock on my motherboard is set to IOT which stands for Inteligent Overclocking and changed the graphic mode over to pci express in the bios. In my bios i can also manual overclock but dont no how to do that. As well in another part of my bios i can set cpu quiet fan to enable and its got.
Target CPU Temperature [50c/122f]
Target Fan Speed [Level 9]
If i enable this can i then set the fan to be quiter with out doing any damage?.
In my ccc on my graphics card i have gone into amd overdrive and set High Performance GPU clock settings to 900 default is 850. I set High Performance Memory clock settings to 1300 and default is 1200
Anything i can do to overclock bios graphic card etc with out doing any damaged to the motherboard and to make the fans less noisy?.
