Just a quick one, I have a Xonar DX with Corsair SP2500 speakers. If I was to get a decent headset (Trittons maybe?) would I have to keep switching the jacks around in the soundcard? Or would the the headphone passthrough on the speaker controller be good enough?

Thanks

I've not tried the headphone passthrough on the speaker controller of the SP2500s. However you can attach your front headphone jack (if you have one) to the Xonar DX meaning you'd just need to plug in the headphones and unplug them as required.

EDIT: Didn't realise you could do what Keynes suggested, that's probably a better plan :)

Thanks for the replies.
How many jack plugs do decent headsets have? Is it just one? If it is which socket would I put it into onto the soundcard?

I didn't realise I could do that with the front headphone jack, I might look into that.

Thanks again.
