Just been messing around a little today with overclocking...

I read so much that 1 X GTX 690 Vs 2X 680, the 690 loses out by a fraction on the 3DMark 11 scores so I thought id have a look. ATM this is my best score.

Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
SB I7 2700K OC @ 5Ghz (stable on prime for 2.75hrs)
EVGA Gtx 690
CPU Cooler Fat boy 2 with push/pull noctua nf-p12 PWM fans
cooling temps with 5Gz at Idle 40 38 38 37°c under stress max 63 63 65 59°c

SCORE
3DMarks = P16723
GRAPHICS SCORE = 20859
PHYSICS SCORE = 10910
COMBINED SCORE = 9911

Am sure above hardware can get a little more juice out of them but enough testing for one day.

Got a free code from EVGA today for 3dmark11 had to give it a go!

Is that your setup? :tt1:
I was interested on the performance of the quad SLI setup with 3 monitors and hexus did a very nice review last month.

I managed to check some 3dmark11 scores a few weeks after I posted that comment.

Yeah thats my baby, got all of it apart from the graphics cards from PCS - unfortunately I ordered my pc when there was a huge shortage of them.

Still, im pretty happy with the result!

Unfortunately I dont have the room for 3 monitor set up as of yet.

Will be posting some pics to the PCS website in a few weeks as I'm away tomorrow and wont get a chance tonight.

It is impressive, you may be able to get higher results with a higher oc on your CPU. Any problems with SLI ? scaling? are you gaming in 1 monitor?

Yeah I have not gotten round to trying any OC of the processor just yet. No issues with the SLI, seemed to work straight away with no issues. Escaping? Alas no I'm working! (Potential fail there, I'm not sure what you mean) Currently Gaming one a PCS Iiyama Prolite G2773HS - its a pretty sweet monitor I think.

^ You need a sig with your specs in gold letters and a crown cuz you're likely to have the best setup in this forum and pretty much everywhere else lol.
