You are welcome. I sometimes take a while to update em but I will keep it going. I like to see where the performance of various cards and cpu's fit in. I just hope someone with the new gen 690's will come along one day and we shall see what they have got ;)

I have not seen any proper benchmark of a quad GTX 690, have you guys at PCS tested those in SLI? I'd like to go for those but that may involve selling a kidney and sleeping in the garden for a month.

GTX 670 benchmark

P8570, GTX 670, i7 3770k.

Does this stack up with what people would expect from a 670? Having read reviews saying it was not much less than 5 or 10% slower than a 680 I wasnt really expecting to be as much behind the last 680 (over 10k) as I am. Is that because I dont have an overclocked CPU?

Also bit confused why it says my CPU clock speed is 1.6ghz although I know a lot of the speeds are wrong ie the ram and GPU clock speed.

Cheers

Not that I am aware of. I work in RMA's though so it requires someone to lose a kidney and for the PC to fail before I get close to it ;)

That is a bit odd, but I have seen it before with FutureMark. It doesn't always report correctly. Worth checking in your bios to make sure that things are running at the right speeds though. As for the performance differences, yes an overclocked PC can make a difference. Take Narcotic's score vs. blindhamster. One has 2x 680's, the other has 1x 680 but OC and is outscoring the 2x 680's.

The other thing is that my integrated HD graphics are not shown as a second graphics card. I also seem to be unable to install virtua MVP - says I dont meet the system requirement although I clearly do. Is it possible the 4000 HD graphics bit of my processor isnt installed/turned on properly? I am really struggling to find driver updates..

Hmm well now it says your CPU is at 2k Mhz! Its definitely not reading that right though, ive checked my Bios. I notice yours doesnt say you have integrated HD as a second GPU either.

Sorry, probably getting off topic here so feel free to move if you want:
"In the other hand, if you would like to use the Intel® HD Graphics 4000 along with the Nvidia video card simultaneously, you would need to take advantage of a feature called, switchable graphics, which is only implemented and support by your motherboard manufacturer directly. Our generic drivers do not support the usage of this feature, therefore this configuration should work using our drivers (possible reason why the add-in card is showing conflicts on Device Manager and the long boot times). So, if this is the case, you need to refer to your computer manufacturer directly to obtain a special driver to use this configuration and check with them if you need further assistance."

Im going to try to research this a bit more..

Here's my result, quite pleased :)

I decided to run a test today as I'm expecting delivery of a new GTX 560ti AMP! edition tomorrow or wednesday and wanted to compare the 2 setups. I'll hopefully see an improvement!

EDIT: D'oh! Just realised I'm running the wrong version of 3dmark, I'll add the correct link in a bit.

Here's the actual link using 3D Mark 11

Not worth showing really lol!

Sorry Starry & Timbercottage, leea12345's score just made it so neither of you made the top 10 :(
leea12345's score takes the number 2 slot - nice!
