Can I just check something - my motherboard is ASUS but I get the chipset drivers from AMD?? I cant see my motherboard in thew dropdown menus

I think you're trying to install from the setup.exe without extracting the package first of all, which won't work.

You need to run the AsusSetup.exe first which will extract the package, then run AsusSetup.exe again and that should install ok.

Which installation are you running? Setup.exe or AsusSetup.exe?

Where are you extracting it to? It’s saying it can’t write to that location so choose somewhere else

Check device manager to see if all devices are installed.

Have you checked windows update?

device manager seems happy - there are no 'other devices' or PCI device alerts
And windows is up to date according to a refresh 30seconds ago
