Broken Desktop.

I have a problem with a custom built desktop from PC Specialist. I am going to ring up tomorrow and see what assistance they can be towards the issue but i also wanted to create a thread. About 3 days ago my computer had been working fine, From since i brought it back in 2010, Some minor issues with a bad graphics card etc which they most kindly fixed.
Now on to this problem, As i was saying about three day ago i started up my computer to find that When the Motherboard check on boot-up Gets to ( Vga - Led ) The motherboard does one short beep, and three fast beeps. This then causes the computer to not show a signal at all on the monitor and not to boot up.
Another problem when booting up (in accordance with the other problem) The graphics card fan speeds up to a Insane speed which it has never done before.
What i have noticed aswell strangely enough, If i change the display menu on the monitor, For example: TV mode to PC mode it will cause the graphic cards fan to speed up to a insane level, (if it hasnt done before hand on boot-up) Also, It will speed up to an insane speed if you take out the VGA cable that goes into the monitor for an input. (Also if you boot-up without the cable in it will automatically go high fan speed)

Any help would be appreciated, As i said i will ring up (today) silly me... Lol! And get it fixed/replaced. Thankyou :)

1 long, 3 short beeps could mean a Failure in video system/ the video DAC(digital-to-analog converter) , the monitor detection procedure or the video RAM has failed.
I assume your monitor only has a VGA port & your using a DVI to VGA adaptor,
If your monitor has a DVI port try connecting with a DVI D cable,if not
you could try another VGA cable &/or adaptor.
