Buying laptop question about not including Windows

Hi guys,
I am very close to purchasing an Optimus IV 15 laptop , I have a copy of windows 7 already , so my question , will I get a driver CD with the laptop/how would I go about setting it all up properly If I choose not to have windows included.

Yes you will get a driver disk.To set things up install windows from the disk you have,make sure you delete existing partitions when doing so as an OS will already be installed.
Instructions for doing a clean install are given in the welcome booklet.
Install drivers,activate windows then install windows updates.

I just got the optimus 4 without windows selected.
The system came with a pcs windows install that they must use for testing which is not useable. So you will need to do a clean install and then the auto run on the cd launches an application that allows you to select the devices you wish to install.

Easy as pie.

edit: one point to note, it is better to get the nvidia 660m gtx drivers from nvidia's website rather than the cd as they will be newer. Other than that all from the cd.
