I’m not sure it’s terribly well configured. A 240mm budget AIO on the 14700k is going to struggle at the best of times, you really need a 360mm premium cooler.

The PSU as well is only just enough and lower tier than I would have thought appropriate.

I would suggests cancelling the order and getting some advice on something more suitable.

I would agree. Best to return it and seek some advice from the forum on a spec. It's not well configured at all for the money.

This link would help give some insight:

If you want to trouble shoot where you are at we will need to look at the individual issues.

What monitor do you have? Model or resolution and refresh rate would be fine.

What error are you getting when trying to enable XMP? Does the PC just not boot?

Have you connected your monitor to the GPU output rather than the Motherboard output? If you're on the motherboard output that would explain the low FPS.

The switch between the PC humming and getting loud is likely the cooler ramping up to try and keep in line with the CPU. It's an awful lot to ask for a low range cooler.

I would download and install HWMonitor.
Download and install 3DMark (Free version is fine)

Run HWMonitor, play a game and post up screenshots of the results from HWMonitor.
Similarly, reset HWMonitor and then run Firestrike from 3DMark. Post up screenshots of the resulting window and also post up the link after clicking "compare online".
