Hi all not been on here for a while but i've returned for a bit more advice.
As above my mother in law is interested in getting a laptop so she can get into internet shopping, keeping in touch with family etc.
Will be used pretty much for that ie not gaming or multitasking etc. I thought a laptop might be more useful than a tablet etc.
I've seen laptops for around the 300 mark elsewhere but was keen to buy from pcspecialist as the desktop i bought here a couple of years ago has been fantastic and problem free, it's still running the latest games now!

So what should i be looking for, thought a 15.6" screen would be good so have had a quick look at the genesis iv but i know nothing about laptops so would appreciate a few pointers if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Ok have had a quick run through the configurater and have a couple of queries - is it worth changing windows 7 to windows 8 as they seem the same price? (assuming it lets me) and is it worth upgrading the battery from the series 6 to the 62.16?

Cheers

Personally I would stick with windows 7 but that's just my opinion, and the standard battery should suffice for the average user.
