What monitor do you have, resolution & refresh rate or make and model?
you could probably do with just 512GB on the SSD M.2 side of things for editing with an additional 2TB HDD
AMD all the way
editing I'd say 32GB RAM, that's what i have in my editing pc
May I ask why you so confidently said AMD over Intel?

Just want to learn.

If anyone else has any input concerning this, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Some useful reading for you :)

I’m issuing a warning for that statement. Every system needs RGB. If it doesn’t look like a unicorn has thrown up in there then it’s not going to perform adequately 😜

Hi,

Was just checking the build you made me. I'm about a month or two from getting it. But something has changed with the build.

The case you put is no longer available or something has changed. Not sure what

Had a quick flick through, from what I read you havent put an order in yet you're just getting specs together before ready to put the order in (wise move).

I wouldnt worry too much, things come off the config pages when they arent in stock, and go back on once more are in. The coolermaster H500 is frequently part of the PCS offering so i'm pretty sure they would be getting more in.

You could email PCS and ask, cos we cant tell you here as we dont know, but if theres a couple of months till actually submitting I wouldnt stress it.

When it comes time to actually put your order in, might have been said already, I would just review your spec and just see what the pricing is like then and if its worth/possible to tweek or improve any little bits (depending on how prices fluctuate)

Thank you. I'm hoping to purchase in May

Godlike
The landscape is hopefully going to shift again once we get to May, hopefully in a positive direction. It'll be easier to reassess a lot closer to the time, so if you want to come back to this maybe a week before you're planning to order we can have another stab at maximising your build according to use case and budget.
