Thank you for reading and hello ^^
I tried to design a sub £750 rig that has future proof-ness (is that a word??) i eventually settled with the following specs
Processor (CPU) AMD PHENOM II X4 955 (3.20GHz/8MB CACHE/AM3) - BLACK EDITION
Motherboard ASUS® M4A79XTD EVO: DUAL DDR3, S-ATA II, 2 x PCIe x16, 2 x PCIe x1, 2 x PCI
Memory (RAM) 4GB SAMSUNG DDR3 DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz (2 X 2GB)
Graphics Card 1GB ATI RADEON™ HD 5770 PCI EXPRESS - DirectX® 11
2nd Graphics Card 1GB ATI RADEON™ HD 5770 PCI EXPRESS - DirectX® 11
Memory - 1st Hard Disk 500GB SERIAL ATA 3-Gb/s HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (7,200rpm)
2nd Hard Disk Currently own a 500gb SATA 3-Gb/s
RAID (HDD 1 & 2) Stripe
1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive Currently Own One
2nd DVD/BLU-RAY Drive Use one i have at home
Memory Card Reader Use one i own
Power Supply & Case Cooling 600W Quiet 80 PLUS Quad Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan (£59) <-- this is the bit i'm unsure about is it enough power???
Processor Cooling STANDARD AMD CPU COOLER <-- again any issues ???
Sound Card ONBOARD 8 CHANNEL (7.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Facilities ONBOARD 10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT
USB Options 6 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL (MIN 2 FRONT PORTS) AS STANDARD
Floppy Disk Drive NONE
Firewire & Video Editing NONE
TV Card NONE
Operating System Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Thanks for the feedback, i'm relatively new to designing computers and could use a bit of help, again thanks
Edit: Im quite an avid gamer, so it needs to run games such as starcraft, AOE, Settlers 7, crysis, Call of Duty MW, and Stronghold 3 (eventually ) smoothly. I will be using a
Samsung SyncMaster 245T Widescreen LCD Monitor.
