I thought i'd report back with my 2p's worth...
Luckily no more err's since... I'm still yet to download the HD pack, i keep putting it off by having a quick game first.
Overall i like it...
- Yes it is a bit confined with maps day/night and repeating areas.
- The voiced hawk is good and the chatter between party members is witty and more frequent.
- Keeping your party happy is the main complication, completing a quest and then being forced in a cut scene to p'off either your mages or tank. (all good fun tho and plot related)
- I don't mind the sudden appearance of enemies, it's actually quite cool when they jump down off a roof or ledge.
- The whole loot / equipment is a bit meh - no point in applying runes as you'll be getting rid in a few quests time.
- Quests are good but sometimes if it weren't for the journal you wouldn't know which were main plots or side quests as they're all a bit "go there, kill them, report back".
i'm somewhere in Act 2, i'd give it 8/10 - it's good and bad points are different to those of DA1.
