So i have decided after doing some research to save myself some money compared to what i will be spending and saved about 450 bucks by downgrading some components can somebody double check and tell me if i made the right decision or i schould put some things back in or rempve even more.
The spec will be going with the LG 34GN850 Ultragear and i want to achieve 60 fps on ultra settings it will be a ultrawide monitor with 3440x1440 resolution.
thanks in advance to anyone helping me out.

If you could post your build like in the link below it will be easy for us to comment on it.
What is your budget? Just so we know how much bang for your buck we can get.
What games do you play? Frame rates vary from game to game, Fortnite can hit much higher frames than MSFS 2020, for example.
Any uses for the PC other than gaming?

Right off the bat, I would say that the 3070 would be a more appropriate fit for your monitor, and the PCS m.2 SSDs are a better pick than the Intel as they are notorious for having a short shelf life.

The storage looks odd to me...are you planning on putting Windows on the slow 256GB drive? Given Windows is extensively used, you really want it on one of the M2 drives..unless the 256GB SSD is being used as a scratch drive for editing etc of course
Think that’s old storage, changed it to having none. It should be a bit clearer if we can have a config link 🙂

my budget is not of the order i just want best value compared to performance and i went amd just because i thought they would have shorter waiting times for the ssd PCS m.2 SSDs only go up to 1TB no ?

So you recommend swapping from intel to pcs and swapping to a 3070 if you think the 6800xt will get my pc sooner tho i would like to stay with that or is 3070 supply decent

I dont think the revised config is very good to be honest.

The 5600X is significantly better than the 3600
The X570 Motherboard is significantly better than the B450 STRIX. The B450 is also previous generation (old tech). The strix isn't worth the extra cash. I would opt for the B550 personally (to save some cash over the 570)
The storage you have selected has known long term limitations due to limited writes on the drive. The PCS options are actually better value.
The PSU you have changed to a lesser model, I personally can't see past the RMx for the minor price difference.

The cooler change was a very good choice though.

So this is my summary so far from you guys go with x570 motherboard instead of B450 STRIX switch to PCS PCIe M.2 SSD and change my PSU to corsair 850 RM series?

Sorry for the spam guys so this is better you guys think but with either a 3070 or 6800XT depending on availibility wich one you think will get the best supply ? and maybe a 5600x instead of a 3600x but i didnt change because of the info i got of the video i linked earlier

For a full rundown on storage: my personal recommendation would be to get a 500gb 980pro for your OS and programs, then a 1TB PCS m.2 for your games library, and a 1TB HDD for general storage.
To come back to you this pc is just mainly gaming i dont stream i play games like red dead redemption, the division, F1 2020, ac valhalla, cyberpunk
Specifically for cyberpunk if you want ray tracing you need the 3070, the newest AMD GPUs are still behind the curve on that.
Unfortunately I can’t tell you time differences between 6800xt and 3070, I know that they’re less scarce than the 3080 but beyond that I’m unsure.
This build should last you 7-10 years. While current games will be GPU bound with your build it is likely that future titles will be more CPU intensive and the difference between the 3600 and 5600 will become more apparent, so I would recommend grabbing the 5600x now if you can afford to.
Cooling-wise, the stock cooler should be fine, if you wanted an aftermarket cooler I would recommend the coolermaster 240 lite if you want to be extra sure.
Upgrade Wireless Card to AX200 which will give you all the WiFi you need as well as Bluetooth.
Take away Bullguard, Windows defender has all the antivirus that you need.

Thanks a lot man the i think i am gonna take the gamble of sticking with the 3600x and the 6800xt since i do not care about raytracing at all atm i feel like it still needs time before it will be mainstream anyways but deffinitly taking your advice on the storage part i dont know anything about that same with the motherboard. Also i am somebody that will just buy an entire new pc anyways in like 3-4 years when i start noticing my pc is falling behind cyberpunk made me do that with my current pc wich is about 3 years old if i remember correctly also the 5600x could be a massive wait time combined with the 6800XT that also a reason i will just stick with the 3600X many many thanks yall also i have the AX200 in my build thats out to be build ;)

Hey there,

I know yesterday i already posted some advice but i want to get some more inspiration and see what you guys come up with.
I want to make a build for ultrawide gaming 3440x1440 that can last me 2-3 years and can play on ultra 60 fps.
money is no problem but i just like bang for buck principle i dont want to spend 500 bucks for only 10 more frames if you know what i mean.
I hope somebody is kind enough to help me one more time.

Thanks in advance
