Defiance 17 VII Reviews?

Hey Everyone, I'm trying to find some recent reviews of the 17.3" Defiance VII. I got a Vyper 17 a few weeks ago and there are a few things that bug me enough to consider a return-and-swap for a Defiance, but I'd like to hear some impressions of it before I do anything .

Yes, the lid opens easily with one hand. If anything it is slightly too loose - when I have my external webcam on the top (because the integrated webcam and mic are terrible) if I move the laptop too quickly the weight of the webcam will move the screen back a bit. I'd like to note that this...

None of the issues were major, and many won't be an issue at all for some people, but for me they made it worth returning.

Anyone has some pictures with the keyboard of this laptop 17.3" Defiance VII the ones from pcspecialist are not that great maybe some pictures of the bottom too?

I believe the Defiance VII is a brand new chassis, which only came into stock today. I don't think anyone has one yet. I've ordered one though, so once it comes I'll be happy to upload some pictures.

On other integrators' sites, the Defiance release date is now reported to july.

I sure hope that is not the case for PCS... The Defiance was showing as being in stock yesterday, if that is not the case I'll be a little annoyed. I know shipments are getting delayed due to covid, but a one-month delay will probably mean I go elsewhere.

I hope, covid has put such a mess with every PC producers: factories closed, workers at home, half workers in when reopened.
There are at least 3 months delay for every producers, july-august will be the big release months, just before the discount for school/september, may be the discounts will be great or not :eek:
Delays for new laptops I've heard of: MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS: begin-mid july
