Deus Ex.

I tried out Deus Ex invisible war after hearing so many good things about Deus Ex,but to be honest I was quite disappointed.Have I bought the wrong version?

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the latest i believe, not played it myself.

A very old school title.

The first (2000) one was a sort of landmark title as it was one of the first to combine a first person shooter with a role playing game and pull it off well.

The second (invisible war) one was released in 2004 and offered more of the same, it received a mixed response from fans of the first.

Personally i am a huge rpg fan and never really got into it

Thanks Pete,I wanted to try one of the older versions to see If I liked It before splashing out on the latest one,maybe It's the original most people were impressed with.

ahh i see. i'm with Gorman on the whole RPG, however i can be tempted with games like Mass Effect 1&2, shooter with a bit more depth.

From everything I've heard, Invisible War is pants.
The original Deus Ex is amazing though, although might be a bit dated now! :S

lol,wish I had picked up on that before buying,no real damage done though,I only paid something like 6 quid for a used version.
