Do I need a second opticle drive?

Hi all,

I notice that some people are ordering a Blue ray drive and a second DVD drive with there new system. Doesn't the blue ray cater for DVD re-writables?

The blu ray drive will handle everything a dvd drive does,two drives are normally just for convenience for someone who wants to copy a lot of disks,it makes the task a lot quicker.
Just make sure the blu-ray drive is DVD ±R/±RW.

Thanks vanthus, i won't be making lots of disk copies so the blu ray should do me fine.

For backing up etc, you mentioned in another thread to have a second HDD for backing etc.
I thought about it and i think its quite important,
so thanks to you i added a second WD 1TB green drive to my order.
