Fingerprint recognition

My Vortex 111 has the fingerprint recognition facility installed .

I have tried to make it operate with absolutely no success.
The TrueSuite program works but the fingerprint scanner clearly isn't scanning.

Any help and suggestions greatly appreciated please.

Best way to get an answer is to phone tech support,I know that isn't convenient for everyone due to working hours or whatever,you can check waiting times here.

On my Vortex II I had the same problem and after reading through some posts here in the forum the only solution was to reinstall W7 which helped.

I phoned Tech support today and they have told me that there is a driver issue they are aware of and they need to e mail me new drivers.
I will post as and when I receive the driver but I would have thought they should have tested this before shipping the laptop ?

well re installed the drivers as suggested by PCS but still no change in the fingerprint reader.

personally, I wouldn't have ordered it but I didn't have an option to order without it .
Now I have paid for it, I would like it to work.

Will update you when and if I hear more from PCS

Sent a reply to PCS after re installing the drivers explaining that the fingerprint reader is still not working
but as yet, no reply from PCS.
