What is your budget? I would suggest upgrading the graphics card and the i5.

My budget £1,500 and what do you mean by upgrading to the i5 when the processor I chose is an i7 (which has a larger cache memory, faster spin speed and has the same number of cores). Do you have any recommendations for the graphics card?

Sorry I didn't mean upgrading the CPU but choosing the i5 instead. If you are planning to run more CPU intensive applications then the i7-3770 should perform better than the i7-3820. You could get the gtx 670, a faster SSD and a caviar black as the main drive.

With your budget I would go for something like this,it allows for SLI in future,but if you don't plan on doing that you could downgrade the PSU to the 650W and the motherboard to the P8Z77-V LX,that would decrease the price by around £50.
