Hey Martin, I only really noticed this after reviewing the spec list again, and saw the change from the Ryzen 7 5800X, to the 5 5600X.You're welcome, always happy to explain choices
Hi, at the time i hadn't noticed the streaming side of things in your first post so thought it was over the top a little and to help budget so went for the 5600 which is a sweet spot for purely gaming, however if you've got the budget then yes go 5800Hey Martin, I only really noticed this after reviewing the spec list again, and saw the change from the Ryzen 7 5800X, to the 5 5600X.
Was the CPU I picked out too overkill for the build, or was that just for budgetary constraints?
Hrmm.. It'll be tight, and use up the leftover budget for the monitor, I can; but I can survive on a cheap monitor for a couple months and just get a better one down the line. Should I stick the the Asus TUF motherboard?Hi, at the time i hadn't noticed the streaming side of things in your first post so thought it was over the top a little and to help budget so went for the 5600 which is a sweet spot for purely gaming, however if you've got the budget then yes go 5800
Yeah, I figured, just thought to double-check cause tomorrow I get the last of the money set aside and drop the order. So I wanted to make sure I'd crossed my t's and dotted my i'sThe H500 Mastercase is a very good case with great airflow.
I generally recommend the Corsair 5000D in that price range but that's simply because I like the aesthetics and it's also a very effective case for airflow.
You won't go wrong with your choice, it would have been pointed out if we thought it couldn't handle it
With the build Martin suggested the CPU cooler will come with a radiator and fans as well. The 5000D should have that mounted on the roof and the fans can be set to exhaust. So the two fans at the front are intake and the CPU cooler + radiator can act like an exhaust. Temps should and airflow should be fineYeah, I figured, just thought to double-check cause tomorrow I get the last of the money set aside and drop the order. I had seen that case, the black one with the big vented front, right? I almost did but I wasn't sure if I'd need more fans then the two it comes with, for that one.
