FN Key not working

I bought a recoil laptop which arrived, everythings looking good other than the fact that i cant getthe FN key to work. I press and hold to turn get access to volume up and down but nothing. I need this buttong to work as for my job i need access to the page up / down feature.. Anyone got any suggestions on what the issue may be?

I have youtube'd how to switch the FN key on which directed me to looking into the BIOS settings but the BIOS seems really bare bones, or i just couldnt see the option.

Please help!!

Has it got gaming center installed? Should be in running programs in the up arrow of the taskbar? It’s a master driver.

i can't see gaming center? can this be downloaded? I did check for updates but it didnt do any.. i will double check now

Gaming center (also possibly called control center) should be available in your online account in the downloads section if it’s not installed.

That’s what governs the hot keys along with fan profiles, power profiles and most things.

Hello,

For some reason only select FN buttons actually work, main one being the volume up button, volume down doesnt work, or volume off ect ect. Really need the page up and down buttons toi work too which don't unless i turn numock off, which is "workable" but not ideal
Does anyone know if this is an issue in general or am i missing a trick in the settings again?

Hi all A bit of a helpful pointer should you wish to post images to the site. The maximum file size of an image you can upload is 1MB. It's quite normal for photos to be above this size, but there's an easy way to shrink down the file before uploading. Download Gimp. This is a free open source...

another easy method to shrink images is in the photos viewer, you can click on the ... on top right corner and theres a resize setting :D

Agreed, but it doesn't give you the option to resize to a space size, only pixel ratio, so it's not very easy to work out. The default under 2Mb is only 0.25Mb which would be incredibly poor quality.
