Hi all,

I built this computer and I’m just looking for opinions before I purchase?

it will be expected to run ultra settings, heavy multitasking, CAD design, and anything else I throw it’s way. I understand it’s no supercomputer but in my limited experience I think everything is up to scratch, but I’ll leave it to you wizards to comment!

I would also try and go for a 144hz 1080p monitor if you can, these days 1080p / 60hz is a bit old school for a new mid level PC, you wont really be getting the best out of that level of GPU

A lot comes down to your budget.

Also would never advise a 1080p screen for a new build, 1440p monitor is better option.

AMD beats Intel at moment (and likely for a couple years) and is far better choice.

The current Intel is being replaced in March by an interim cpu, Intel are currently at bottom of a very big hole of their own making.

with current version, you do not get PCIe 4.0 and have the usual intel security issues.

Does it need to be micro atx?

your expectations and the build do not really align, however a lot comes down to budget and if really need micro.

“Heavy multitasking” may need more memory. What sort of multitasking / programs are you using.
