Gaming PC advice - limited budget

Hi guys, I'm planning on buying a PC to play guild wars 2 on, and have almost no knowledge on how to design a PC.

I have a limited budget and don't really want to spend more than £600.

I've been considering buying a 'sufficient' graphics card for now and upgrading it about a year down the line.

I'd appreciate any example builds and advice you have, thanks.

rubensolo's spec is the best you can get for £600 :) I'd definitely get that!

The only issue you might encounter with that spec is if 500gb is enough. If not, and you need more space, the price will obviously go up.

Make sure to get that silver warranty which puts it just £5 over your budget :p

Thanks for the quick replys, they're really helpful.

That build looks great from having a little look round.

I am considering downgrading the graphics card (due to money reasons), are there graphics cards cheaper than mentioned that would be good enough for about a year.

The other thing I'm lookin at is the RAM, would it be wise to spend potential money saved on a cheaper graphics card on 8gb ram?

Thanks in advance.

A cheaper alternative would be the HD 7770 or HD 7750, you could also go with 8gb memory ram but for gaming 4gb should suffice. I'd really try to get the best graphics card you can afford, adding ram is more cost effective than upgrading a replacing a graphics card.

As your planning on upgrading the graphics card in future I would upgrade the PSU
to the corsair 650W and downgrade the GPU as you said,no point in getting a more expensive card than you need at the moment.
4 GB RAM is plenty for now & easily upgraded

Thanks, I hadn't considered adding ram in the future, that makes more sense.

I think I'm settled on this build. Cheers.

I'm a bit worried about the processor, since I have almost no knowledge about them. Such as will it be able to run the latest games on high settings, and for how long?

I would apreciate it if someone could give me some details or examples about it, or compare it to other processors.

Thanks
