You'll need a budget for the monitor of around £500 to get something worth the build you're proposing.

I'd suggest taking £500 out of the PC budget and setting it aside for the screen, then you can easily afford a good 1440p 144Hz system.

£2500 has 1440p ultrawide written all over it, including the monitor.

Recommended spec above is absolutely spot on for such a setup. I wouldn't even consider 1080p as an option with anything over £1500 as the budget.

You could save £140 on the above spec and go with the B450 motherboard. It's not really necessary but it is a fantastic motherboard. All options should cover the next generation of chip from AMD anyway.
