Hi all,
Looking to replace an aging recoil laptop with a high spec gaming PC with a view to it lasting for a good generation +. The most demanding game I play currently is msfs2020 and to say this struggles on a RTX 2070 is an understatement, so hoping for a setup to provide really nice fps.
I don't currently have a monitor but I will definitely be getting something along the lines of these or around this price range
Dell Alienware AW3423DW
Dell Alienware AW3423DWF
Samsung Odyssey G9
Really like the idea of an Ultrawide 1440p monitor but I will more than likely get a 4k monitor down the line too.
Hoping you guys will take a good look at my build and monitor pairing and can advise whether I'm on the right track or if you think I am paying for more extra heat than extra performance to warrant the current price and whether there are any potential savings.
For e.g. Is it best practice to have just the OS installed on the primary SSD and games installed to secondary for optimum stutter free performance or does it really not matter?
Many thanks in advance!
