Been waiting to order from pcspecialist for a long time after hearing good things. Not much of a techie myself. Is this a good spec?

Thank you,

Looks like an ideal spec, especially for FSX.

I don't own the game, but going by its minimum requirements (unmodded) i doubt you would experience any issues with it

it requires nothing at minimum settings, but if you want to go full out, then well you are gonna need better than a 3960x from what ive heard

Just a few things to improve the build if you have the budget are a slightly better case, up the GPU to the GTX570 or if you don't want this and you are only using a single monitor you only need the 1GB GTX560Ti, with your SSD you will find that an 80GB is going to fill up very quick and personally i don't think they are worth the price still especially for gaming a good high performance HDD is all you really need so you could go for a larger caviar black or barracuda instead, don't forget the silver warranty it's only £5 and will extend the collect and return from 1 month to a full year.

from what ive heard, a single monitor on FSX can eat through memory easily, well over 1GB too
